Stephen C. Keach

Steve Keach has an MBA in international management, a BA in government and politics, and is an experienced writer, researcher and analyst on environmental issues.  He has more than 20 years experience, including 7 years as a senior associate with Perrin Quarles Associates (PQA), a Charlottesville, Virginia environmental consulting firm, and 9 years as a program analyst with the U.S. EPA Office of Policy, Planning, and Evaluation.

At PQA, Steve focused on climate change, air pollution, urban heat islands, and energy efficiency and renewable energy. Preceding his work with PQA, Steve worked as a construction company manager, a case study writer for the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, a free lance contractor, and as a U.S. EPA, As an EPA program analyst, Steve was the project officer for several international, state, and local comparative risk projects and served on the President’s Council on Sustainable Development and the Interagency Working Group on Sustainable Development Indicators, among other duties.
