Stephen C. Keach
Steve Keach has an MBA in international management, a BA in government and politics, and is an experienced writer, researcher and analyst on environmental issues. He has more than 20 years experience, including 9 years as a program analyst with the U.S. EPA Office of Policy, Planning, and Evaluation and 7 years as a senior associate with Perrin Quarles Associates (PQA), a Charlottesville, Virginia environmental consulting firm.
As an EPA program analyst, Steve served as the project officer for international, state, and local comparative risk projects and represented EPA’s Office of Strategic Planning on the President’s Council on Sustainable Development and the Interagency Working Group on Sustainable Development Indicators. At PQA, Steve focused on climate change, air pollution, urban heat islands, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.
In addition to working for the US EPA and consulting at PQA, Steve has managed a construction company, written sustainable business case studies for UVA’s Darden School of Business Administration, and completed a wide range of environmental projects as a free-lance consultant.
